Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Draftsperson is a critical component of the Engineering team who develops, maintains and performs quality control checks on engineering technical drawings and 3D models.
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining drawings and 3D models
Incorporating Engineering Changes into existing drawings
Conducting quality control checks of drawings
Assisting Engineers and other team members with analysis as required
Conducting vessel surveys and lift-offs
Requirements:
Minimum one year Drafting Course from a Post Secondary Institution
Must be proficient in AutoCAD
Proficiency in MicroStation would be considered an asset
Proficiency in Rhino would be considered an asset
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
