Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Technologist is a critical component of the Engineering team who develops, maintains and performs quality control checks on engineering technical drawings and 3D models, as well as conducts structural analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining drawings and 3D models
- Incorporating Engineering Changes into existing drawings
- Conducting quality control checks of drawings
- Assisting Engineers and other team members with analysis
- Conducting structural analysis
- Performing vessel surveys and lift-offs
Requirements:
- Technology Diploma from a Post Secondary Institution
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Rhino or other 3D modeling software would be considered an asset
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
