Reporting to the Manager of the Publications Department, the MS Office Specialist is a valued member of the Fleetway Publications Team who assists with the creation, revision and submission of Naval Documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Creating Naval Documentation from the information provided by a client using pre-existing document templates.
- Utilizing Microsoft Word, Adobe products and Corel Draw to format and manipulate Naval Documentation and ensure the proper layout is used.
- Editing and proofreading Naval Documentation to ensure updates and proper revisions are made.
- Preparing and submitting draft and/or final document publications.
- Photocopying, printing and scanning documents as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years working experience in an administrative capacity with an emphasis on Microsoft Word processing and creating, editing, revising and formatting documents.
- Diploma from a recognized Computer School or Business College.
- MOUS certified in Microsoft Word would be an asset
- Experience with Naval Documentation is considered an asset.
- Must have attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to meet project deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Bilingual in French is considered an asset for this position.
- Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian government security clearances.
